And if reports in Sports Tak are to be believed, the player who returned positive for the virus is none other than the swashbuckling wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant.
Veteran journalist and chief sports editor of ‘Aaj Tak’, Vikrant Gupta took to his official Twitter account to disclose the same.

Last night, it was reported by the UK and Indian media that one Indian player had tested positive for Covid-19 but the name of the player wasn’t disclosed.
It had mentioned that the player had experienced a sore throat which eventually led to a positive Covid test. All the teammates and support staff, who came in contact with him, were isolated for 3 days and they have now completed their isolation.
The report had also mentioned that the player is home quarantined at his relatives’ place and he is likely to join the rest of the contingent after recovering from Covid-19.
