Revealed: Who are the Impact Players nominated for LSG vs CSK match 30 of IPL 2025?

The list of Impact players nominated for the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Chennai Super Kings has been revealed.

The Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium is hosting the IPL 2025 match between the Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday, April 14.

Lucknow Super Giants have exceeded expectations in the ongoing season of IPL as despite not having a good bowling unit, they have won four matches, which is the same number of wins as the high-flying Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titan, and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

In the powerplay overs, LSG bowlers have struggled and have an economy of 10.8, which is the second-worst this season. In contrast, they have scored 60 or more in the powerplay with bat in four of their six innings this season and their run rate of 10 against spin is the second-best.

Although the form of Rishabh Pant has been worrisome, the other batters have made up for it, especially Nicholas Pooran, who has looked in the form of his life and is currently sitting at the top of the Orange Cap charts.

Talking about CSK, MS Dhoni has returned as skipper, but still, things are looking bad for the five-time champions. Nothing has been going their way and other than the performance of spinner Noor Ahmad, it's hard to find any positives at the moment.

CSK are currently at the bottom of the Indian Premier League 2025 points table and the head coach Stephen Fleming has bluntly said that Dhoni has no 'magic wand' to flip their season around.

Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants have a wood over the Chennai Super Kings in the competition as they have won three out of five matches, with one match having no result.

Speaking at the toss, MS Dhoni revealed that the dew factor played a role in their decision to bowl first in the match and thanked fans for the support. MS Dhoni said:

"We are blessed, we get good support wherever we go. We want to bowl first, there's chances of dew here."

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant said that they were also looking to bowl first. He stated:

"It's just amazing. We would have bowled first. In Lucknow it's slower in the first innings, gets better gradually. The only thing we talked about CSK is that we don't want to give them an opening, just need to give our 100%. We want to go out there and play good cricket. Only one change - Marsh comes back in for Himmat Singh."
