Why are Wanindu Hasaranga and Sandeep Sharma not playing today's match for RR against MI?

Speaking at the toss, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper Riyan Parag revealed that Wanindu Hasaranga and Sandeep Sharma will be missing the match against the Mumbai Indians.

He stated that the star pacer Sandeep Sharma has broken his finger while Wanindu Hasaranga has a niggle, which will keep him out of the match.

"Couple of changes, Hasaranga has a niggle, Kumar Kartikeya comes in, Sandy (Sandeep Sharma) bhai has broken his finger so Madhwal comes in," Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag said.

We kept the celebrations simple after that win in the previous game - Riyan Parag

Parag, during the same interaction with Anjum Chopra, revealed that they didn't celebrate much after the victory over the Gujarat Titans, and the message from head coach Rahul Dravid was to keep things simple. He said:

"We might see some dew later. The wicket usually settles down as the game progresses, and we want to exploit it later in the night.

"We kept the celebrations simple after that win in the previous game. We were happy for Vaibhav. Rahul Dravid Sir has made it clear, we keep it simple, whether we go high or low. We have kept it very simple regardless of winning or losing."

Riyan Parag further said that Rajasthan Royals become a very dangerous team when they play to their potential like they did in the last match. He said:

"Not really. Three games ago, the message was to take one game at a time. We had a few hiccups. If we play to our potential, we know how good we can be. We just want to give everyone the freedom to play their game."
