Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma refused to remove his helmet, even during the victory celebrations and the celebrations of his century, to conceal his baldness. He even borrowed the cap from his coaching staff before opening the helmet and immediately covering his bare head.
Indian veteran ODI batter Rohit Sharma scored a stunning century in the final ODI of the India tour of Australia, which marked the end of a glorious career against the mighty Aussies on their soil. Rohit became the second Indian batter after Sachin Tendulkar to have scored 2500+ runs against the Aussies.
Rohit was also awarded the Player of the Match in the game. The two veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been named man of the match in four of the previous five games India won in the 50-over format.
Rohit Sharma covers 'baldness' with a helmet during victory celebrations
As the great Indian opener looked flawless in Sydney and smashed a match-winning knock of 121* runs off 125 balls, he redefined records and remained unbeaten throughout the chase. After Kohli finished the chase with a boundary, Indian players lined up for the handshakes alongside the Aussies.
Rohit Sharma can be seen with his helmet still on during this entire handshake row. Although some of his teammates urged him to remove it, he borrowed a cap from one of the support staff to cover his head before taking off the helmet.
Rohit was covering up for his baldness, a very common problem in Indian men with increasing age. This has led to a flurry of hilarious remarks on social media.

Rohit Sharma broke a SENA record by any visiting batter
In his flawless century at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Rohit Sharma smashed three sixes in his innings, as the serial six-hitter from India managed to break a massive record in SENA countries previously held by West Indies legend Chris Gayle.
Rohit brought up his 60th half-century by hitting Adam Zampa for a six over the covers with a very fine inside-out shot. This marked Rohit's 93rd six on SENA soil, and with this, he surpassed Chris Gayle's previous record of most sixes by a visiting batter in SENA countries in the 50-over format.
He is also just three sixes away from equalling former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi in the list of most sixes hit in ODI cricket history. Afridi tops the list with 351 sixes, while Rohit has 348 sixes, having played 120+ fewer matches than the former all-rounder.
Rohit Sharma joined the elite list of Indian cricketers
Alongside the several batting milestones for Rohit, he has also earned a new spot in the list of cricketers with the most catches in One-day internationals for India. Rohit took a sharp grab to dismiss Mitchell Owen at slips and then contributed to the dismissal of Nathan Ellis as well.
He joined the elite list of Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli, Mohammad Azharuddin, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Suresh Raina to have taken 100 catches in ODIs. Rohit now also averages the most among any cricketer in the history of the format against Australia.
