Richard Kettleborough kicked aside as ICC announces umpires for Champions Trophy 2025 semi-finals

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to reach a conclusion as just three games of the tournament are left to be played. Knockout stage of the eight-nation tournament will kick start on Tuesday (4th March), and after two semi-finals, the final will be played on Sunday (9th March).
The four teams that have made it into the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are the India National Cricket Team, the New Zealand National Cricket Team, which topped Group A, the South Africa National Cricket Team, and the Australia National Cricket Team, who topped Group B.
India vs Australia will be the first semi-final, South Africa vs New Zealand will be the second semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025
The first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy will take place between the India National Cricket Team and the Australia National Cricket Team. The match will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Tuesday (4th March).
Second semi-final will see the South Africa National Cricket Team taking on the New Zealand National Cricket Team on Wednesday (5th March). The match is scheduled to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
With the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 around the corner, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the list of match officials for the two games. In what will be the good news for Indian fans, Richard Kettleborough won't be there in the first semi-final.

Michael Gough will be the third umpire, while Adrian Holdstock and Andy Pycroft will be the fourth Umpires and match Referee, respectively, for the first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
In the clash between South Africa and New Zealand, Kumar Dharmasena and Paul Reiffel will be the on-field Umpires. Joel Wilson and Ahsan Raza will be the third and fourth Umpires, respectively. The match Referee for the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be Ranjan Madugalle.
All the fourth teams performed excellently in the group stage. India won all their league games, while New Zealand won two and lost one. Australia and South Africa on the other hand won two games while their game against each other got washed out.
