“I understand fake News gives more traction To content but let’s not built everything around it . Little sense and credible news will help more rather making fake news with agenda . Thanks have a good day . Let’s be responsible and sensible what we put out on social media,” Pant wrote on X.

Rishabh Pant fails as skipper
Rishabh Pant didn’t feel the captaincy pressure, and the 27-crore price tag at the same time might be the reason for his underperformance.
Pant just scored 135 runs in 12 matches with a strike rate of just 100. Pant’s average is the lowest compared to other IPL captains, as his average is just 12.27 in this season.
LSG were knocked out of the IPL 2025 by their poor performances in the clutch moments of the game. But Pant was looking confident after a pathetic season with the bat.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Pant shared insights into the team's mental approach. “Generally the thought process was, we're going to look at the positive side instead of thinking about the negative. And that's how the mindset works. That's how we want to build our processes around the team—that instead of looking at the negative side, let's look at the positive and embrace it,” Pant stated.
Will Rishabh Pant finish IPL 2025 on a solid note?
Rishabh Pant has only two opportunities left in IPL 2025, and Pant will be looking to make the most of the opportunities. LSG will take on the Gujarat Titans at the batting paradise pitch in Ahmedabad on May 22.
Pant and Co. will play their final league stage game on May 27 in their home ground against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
After the IPL 2025 season, Pant will be preparing hard for the Test series against England in England starting from June 20.
