Definitely, it feels so good - Rishabh Pant on James Anderson and Stuart Broad's absence

After a very long time, the England National Cricket Team will be starting their home summer without the services of both James Anderson and Stuart Broad.

India Test vice-captain Rishabh Pant was asked about the absence of the duo in the upcoming series, and he admitted that he "feels good".

"Definitely, it feels so good when both (Anderson and Broad) are not there. Because coming from the last two tours, they've been there for England for so many years and I've only come for two tours," he said, as quoted by India Today.

They have enough ammunition as an England bowling line-up - Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant, however, acknowledged that England have got a good bowling unit even in the absence of Anderson and Broad, and the bowlers can't be taken lightly. He said:

"But at the same time, they have enough ammunition as an England bowling line-up. We don't want to take anyone lightly because our team is also young.

"They're still looking to develop themselves. But at the same time, we've got to play our cricket and respect the bowlers and opposition where it needs it."

Pant came up against Anderson in 16 innings in Test cricket, and he scored 98 runs in 196 balls at an average of 32.66 while being dismissed three times. Also, the wicketkeeper-batsman faced Broad in five innings in Test cricket and scored 59 runs in 80 balls at an average of 59.00 while being dismissed just once.
