Rishabh Pant, despite being padded up, didn't come out to bat potentially to the kind of form he has been going through. The keeper-batter has been struggling to get going with the bat and this has seen him facing a lot of criticism for his poor batting.

Rishabh Pant bagged a 6-ball duck against Delhi Capitals in his team's opening game in the IPL. After that, he scored just 2 runs against the Punjab Kings and then followed it up with another 2-run knock in the game against Mumbai Indians at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Him not coming to bat didn't cost the team much as Aiden Markram (47), Mitchell Marsh (81), and Nicholas Pooran (87*) played magnificent hands with the bat. Thanks to their brilliant effort with the bat, the Lucknow Super Giants posted a massive total of 238 runs on the board.
