2nd innings (South Africa Legends): The top-order batsmen made the chase very comfortable

South Africa Legends openers Andrew Puttick and Morne van Wyk provided a strong start with the 59 runs partnership for the opening wicket. James Tredwell broke that partnership by dismissing Puttick for 23 runs during the eighth over of that chasing.

Then wicket-keeper batsman Morne and Alviro Petersen strengthen the game with the quick-fire 36 runs partnership for the second wicket inside the next 18 balls. Morne just missed his fifty as he was stumped out for 46 runs off 31 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes) while Usman Afzaal took that wicket.

1st innings (England Legends): South Africa Legends bowlers were totally in control

England Legends batsmen completely struggled during the entire first innings of this match. Garnett Kruger brought the breakthrough very early on the seventh ball of the match as he dismissed opener Phil Mustard for a duck. England Legends continuously lost their wickets as there was not strong base or any game-changing innings from their batsmen.

Only three batsmen managed to score 20+ runs during that England Legends innings. While the opener and skipper Kevin Pietersen scored 21 runs, Darren Maddy was their highest run-scorer of 25 runs and the lower-order batsman Chris Tremlett scored 23 runs. There were only two more double-digit scores in that innings (Usman Afzaal 10, Chris Schofield 12).
