In the 12th match of the Road Safety World Series 2020/21, Bangladesh Legends will face West Indies Legends at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium (Raipur) on Friday (12th March) night.

Road Safety World Series 2020/21, Match 12: Bangladesh Legends vs West Indies Legends – Match Preview
As they have lost all their first three matches of this Road Safety World Series, it is going to be a must-win game for Bangladesh Legends.
Bangladesh Legends batting has hugely struggled. Despite their two 50+ opening partnerships, the other batsmen totally failed to maintain those momentums. When that opening partnership failed to provide a strong start, that batting line-up was collapsed halfway. Khaled Mashud and Mushfiqur Rahman then set up a 50+ partnership as they scored the 30s but it was far away from enough. Nazimuddin is their only batsman who has impressed in this tournament as his scores are 49, 12 and 54 runs respectively.
In their first two matches, the bowlers could do very little. In the last game, their bowlers conceded huge runs in the death overs as the set batsman Upul Tharanga totally changed the game situation in their last five overs of the innings. Bangladesh Legends captain Mohammad Rafique is their only bowler who has managed to take wickets in more than one game as he has taken 3 wickets in three matches.
Mohammad Rafique (C), Khaled Mahmud, Nafees Iqbal, Abdur Razzaq, Khaled Mashud, Hanan Sarkar, Javed Omar, Rajin Saleh, Mehrab Hossain, Aftab Ahmed, Alamgir Kabir, MD.Sharif Mushfiqur Rahman, Mamoon Rashid.
West Indies Legends
Just like Bangladesh Legends, West Indies Legends have also suffered three defeats in all three matches of Road Safety World Series 2020/21. After losing against India Legends and South Africa Legends in the last year, West Indies Legends lost against Sri Lanka Legends in their first match of this year. So, this upcoming match is going to be very crucial for them too as it will be a must-win game for them.
Captain Brian Lara (53*) and Dwayne Smith (47) scored good runs in their last game against Sri Lanka Legends but 157/4 was not enough to become the match-winning total. Tino Best (2/22) and Sulieman Benn (2/19) bowled really well in that game, but they didn’t get enough support from the other Caribbean bowlers.
Brian Lara (C), Tino Best, Ridley Jacobs (wk), Narsingh Deonarine, Sulieman Benn, Dinanath Ramnarine, Adam Sanford, Carl Hooper, Dwayne Smith, Ryan Austin, William Perkins and Mahendra Nagamootoo.
Road Safety World Series 2020/21, Match 12: Bangladesh Legends vs West Indies Legends – Match Prediction
Surely, both teams will be desperate to win this upcoming match which will help them to open their points account of this Road Safety World Series 2020/21. As both teams are highly struggling, there is clearly no favourite. But West Indies Legends will have better confidence as they have played only one match this year while Bangladesh Legends have played all three matches this year.
