Notably, the Indian skipper shared the news of the birth of their first child via social media posts on Monday. Now, the Indian vice-captain has congratulated Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma for the happy event.

Reportedly, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have not been sharing the best of the binds ever since the conclusion of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019. The rumours of the rift have been there ever since and they intensified in this year’s IPL when both of them did not even look at each other after meeting for the first time.

However, in recent times, Rohit has shown a couple of times that they are nothing but rumours and that the Indian skipper and vice-captain are on the same page personally and professionally.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a daughter on Monday. The Indian skipper announced that the couple was pregnant back in September 2020 during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). The Indian skipper and his wife Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a daughter.

Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli Have Not Been On Good Terms Reportedly

The rumours of rift took another height as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli met each other in the IPL this year. Rohit and Virat didn’t even look at each other when Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) met for the first time in IPL 2020. All this fuelled up the debate as to whether or not the Indian pillars are on speaking terms.

The rumours of a rift between Rohit and Virat resurfaced when the Indian captain stated lack of clarity on Rohit’s availability. Rohit sustained an injury in IPL 2020.
