In two matches, the experienced opener managed to score only 11 runs and 26 runs in the first and second innings, respectively. CREX reported that Gurunath Sharma and Purnima Sharma are in London for the upcoming ODI in London to witness the last dance of Rohit. Rohit himself has reportedly arranged everything so that his parents could stay in the stands during the match.
The report further mentioned that the team management wishes to explore young talents in place of the veteran batter. Talents like Yashashvi Jaiswal, who has a good ODI record in a limited number of ODI games, are among the candidates who could be in the race to replace Rohit instantly.
The report confirmed that the upcoming ODI match in London is going to be Rohit Sharma’s last match in Indian colours. His parents have already arrived in the city and will witness their son’s last match for the national cricket team.
