SA vs AUS: Tilak Varma Video Calls Dewald Brevis To Congratulate Him After Maiden South Africa Call-Up

Young Indian batter Tilak Varma congratulated his Mumbai Indians buddy Dewald Brevis after he received his maiden South Africa call-up for the upcoming ODI and the T20I series against Australia. The India player video called him and made his occasion special. 

Tilak Varma shared the screenshot of his video call with Dewald Brevis and shared a heartfelt message for his best friend. The Indian batter said that he was happy and proud of him and wrote: 

“Congratulations on your call-up brother! So happy and proud of you.” 

Tilak Varma and Dewald Brevis shared great camaraderie between them as they often have been seen hanging out with each other during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Even after the league, they share pictures with each other. 

Not only this when Tilak Varma received his maiden call-up for India for the West Indies T20Is, Dewald Brevis shared a video message for the Indian batter and said that he was excited to see him and congratulated him on his achievement. 

“I hope you’re very excited. I don’t know if I’m more excited that you, but I just wanna say from my side and from the Brevis family congratulations on your debut. It’s such a great moment for you and your family. I can just imagine how your parents and everyone must be.

It’s great to see you out there living your dream out, and it gave me goosebumps those that second ball and third ball. Now you always have my support and all the best for the rest of their serious. I’m backing you free. And every guy for Team India,” Brevis had said in a video shared by the BCCI.
