SA20 Season 4 Full Schedule Announced

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the schedule for the fourth edition of the SA20, bringing excitement to South African cricket fans. The tournament will kick off with defending champions MI Cape Town taking on Durban’s Super Giants at the iconic Newlands Stadium on December 26, 2025.

The knockout stages of the T20 tournament begin with Qualifier 1 on 21 January, followed by the Eliminator on 22 January and Qualifier 2 on 23 January. As per the schedule, the tournament will conclude with the Final on 25 January. The venues for the playoff matches and the Final will be announced later.

SA20 Season 4 Full Schedule Announced

The first double-header of the season is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 27. Pretoria Capitals will take on Joburg Super Kings in Centurion, while Paarl Royals lock horns with Sunrisers Eastern Cape at Boland Park.

Kingsmead Stadium will host the match between Durban’s Super Giants and MI Cape Town on December 28, followed by a clash with Joburg Super Kings on December 30.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape will take on Paarl Royals at St George’s Park in the afternoon on December 31, while MI Cape Town face Pretoria Capitals under the lights at Newlands. Joburg Super Kings will meet Durban’s Super Giants at the Wanderers on January 1.

The tournament then shifts to the Highveld for another double-header on January 3. Joburg Super Kings will battle Sunrisers Eastern Cape at the Wanderers, followed by Pretoria Capitals vs Durban’s Super Giants in Centurion.

Season 4 of Betway SA20 Will Be Unique - Graeme Smith

SA20 League Commissioner Graeme Smith said that the schedule is planned to align with the festive season and school holidays. Smith noted that the initial phase of matches will focus on coastal venues.

“Season 4 of Betway SA20 will be unique,” Smith said. “We’ve carefully planned the fixtures to make the most of the festive season and school holidays. We want SA20 to be a part of the holiday season festivities in our once-off window for this year.

“With the early part of the fixtures weighted towards our coastal venues, holidaymakers from around the country will have a fantastic entertainment option fit for the entire family. We’re also excited to host New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day fixtures for the first time; we can’t wait to be a part of the New Year’s celebrations with the fans.”
