Rachin Ravindra Became the First Kiwi Batter To Score a Test Century Since 2012
Rachin Ravindra became the first New Zealand batter to score a Test century in India since 2012. He scored 134 off 157 balls, including 13 fours and four sixes, as New Zealand posted a total of 402 runs in the first innings. The visiting team took a massive lead of 356 runs after bowling out India for 46 runs.
Sarfaraz Khan showcased his brilliance with his maiden Test hundred on the fourth day of the rain-affected match. New Zealand has struggled to trouble the batter in the second innings. The duo put on a 177-run stand for the fourth wicket on the fourth day. India is looking to post a mammoth total in their second innings against New Zealand, who last won a Test match in India in 1988. The Rohit Sharma-led team would want to bat till the end of the day and add as many runs as possible.
