Internet celebrity and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar, recently took to her Instagram to call out blatant body-shaming by paparazzi.
Sara took offence at a video posted by journalist Tahir Jasus, which was evidently body-shaming her and even appeared to pass lewd comments about her physical appearance.

The video posted by Jasus to his Instagram showed Sara at the airport with her sister-in-law, Saaniya Chandok.
In the 17-second video, both Sara and Chandok have their backs to the camera, and voices can be heard asking who's who. Another voice responded, "Moti wali Sara hai, bagal wali bhabhi hai" (The "fat" one is Sara, the one next to her is her sister-in-law). The video had the same text written in Hindi.
The video has since been deleted from Instagram, but netizens have gotten hold of it, and the video is now viral on platforms like X.
Sara Tendulkar calls out paparazzi
On Thursday, Sara put an Instagram story criticising Jasus and his now-deleted video.
Originally, she wrote, "@tahirjasus - you are disgusting. This is not 'journalism'. Leave. Us. Alone."
After learning that the post had been deleted, she hit back by writing, "@tahirjasus, you can delete your post, but that doesn't make you any less disgusting."

In online circles, Jasus was criticised for his insensitivity and apparent objectification. Discussions have once again been sparked over what exactly constitutes appropriate behaviour by paparazzi.
Sara Tendulkar at IPL 2026
Although her brother Arjun is part of the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026, Sara has not been seen attending many of their matches.
On April 12, both she and Chandok attended LSG's fixture against the Gujarat Titans in Lucknow. While Chandok was in an LSG jersey, Sara was in normal clothing.
Arjun Tendulkar is yet to play any matches for his team in this tournament, and LSG have just one match left - against the Punjab Kings on May 23.
Sara Tendulkar in professional life
Professionally, Sara is a director at the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. The Foundation works towards empowering underprivileged children by providing them access to holistic measures of sports, health, and education for their all-around development.
Sara joined the foundation last year after completing her studies abroad in London. She also runs a Pilates Academy in Mumbai, which was launched last year.

Of all the things that she is always in the news for, Sara's dating life is the one that keeps coming up the most.
