Fans on Twitter reacted after the New Zealand National Cricket Team completed a 3-0 whitewash in the Test series against the India National Cricket Team. They scripted history after their 25-run win over hosts at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (3rd November).
The New Zealand National Cricket Team came up with a sensational effort in the third Test of the three-match series against the India National Cricket Team. The Kiwis continued their golden touch in the series, and even after being down, they managed to snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat.

New Zealand outplay India
New Zealand batted first, and they didn't have the kind of outing they would have wanted. Daryl Mitchell was the top scorer for the team with his innings of 82 runs. Will Young (71) also supported him as the visitors posted a total of 235 runs on the board. For India, Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers as he grabbed a fifer.
India, in response, yet again struggled to get going with the bat. Although they went past New Zealand's score, they weren't up to the mark. Shubman Gill was the top run-getter for the team as he played an innings of 90 runs. Along with him, Rishabh Pant (60) also slammed a half-century for his team.
Yashasvi Jaiswal (30) and Washington Sundar (38*) also came up with the valuable effort as India took a lead of 28 runs. The hosts then came up with a magical bowling effort in the second innings as they ended New Zealand's innings on 174 to set themselves a target of just 147 runs to chase.
India fail to chase the target of 147 runs
The panic button for India started right from the time Rohit Sharma fell for 11. After that, wickets fell like a pack of cards, and the hosts were left reeling at 29 for five. It was then that Rishabh Pant (64) stood tall for his team and stepped on the peddle, taking his team forward.
The keeper-batter slammed the second half-century of the game and took the hosts close to target but he was at the receiving end of a controversial dismissal.
After his wicket, Ravichandran Ashwin tried to support Washington Sundar but he too perished as Ajaz Patel picked another fifer and ended Indian innings on 121 to win the game by 25 runs.

No praise high enough for this achievement from NZ. Possibly the greatest moment in NZ Cricket history. They outplayed India in every department in the toughest place to come and win, and deserve all the accolades and respect. Well played @BLACKCAPS 👏🏻👏🏻 #INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/P26qa1oE89

There’s very little to nothing that can defend this showing so far. Senior pros seriously off-colour, the next in line looking very confused with their red ball game plans. Even if miraculously the result goes in India’s favour - This needs a serious rethink #IndvNZ

You're not a god, bro. You can't just play for two weeks and then head back to London for a month. Either commit to good cricket or retire to balance family life. It doesn't matter how many centuries you’ve smashed or how high your standards are #ViratKohli #INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/ujozWmcdH4
