On Wednesday, September 2, a few posts on 'X' claim that the Pakistan team management has asked Salman Ali Agha to join the team on an immediate basis for the prestigious meeting. The meeting is claimed to be held today. However, as of now, there is not much detail about the meeting between the Pakistan National Cricket Team and King Charles III.
Salman Ali Agha agrees to rejoin the Pakistan Test team at the request of Mike Hesson and PCB
Milan Ahmad, a digital sports journalist, made some claims about the meeting through his social media post on 'X'. According to Ahmad's claims, Agha agreed to join the team again after being snubbed at the request of the newly appointed Test team head coach Mike Hesson and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Agha remains in England after the Lord's Test match, so it will not be difficult for him to rejoin the team.
"On the request of Mike Hesson, PCB has asked Salman Ali Agha to join the Pakistan squad immediately. Salman was in Birmingham at his in-laws’ place. He will now join the team in London and attend the dinner hosted by King Charles at Clarence House Gardens with the Pakistan squad," the journalist writes in his social media post.

PCB dropped seven cricketers ahead of the Birmingham Test match
The Pakistan cricket team has sustained two consecutive defeats in the ongoing three-match Test series against the England cricket team. In both of the games, the Men in Green went down against the Three Lions brutally. The touring team's batters could not hold their ground against the England cricket team's fast bowlers. England and Pakistan are scheduled to play one more match in the contest, which will be in Birmingham.
Ahead of the Birmingham Test match, which is scheduled to start on September 9, PCB decided to make a massive shuffle in their Test cricket team by dropping seven players from the squad. PCB dropped senior players like Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Ali Usman, Aamir Jamal, Muhammad Awais Zafar, and Khurram Shahzad.
In place of these seven cricketers, the board has named Saim Ayub, Abdullah Fazal, Arafat Minhas, Saad Baig, Muhammad Randhawa, Razaullah and Muhammad Imran Jnr as the replacements.
Mike Hesson replaces Sarfaraz Ahmed as Pakistan's Test team's head coach
Alongside making changes in the squad, the PCB sacked Sarfaraz Ahmed and Umar Gul as the Test team's head coach and bowling coach. Mike Hesson, the head coach of the team across the white-ball formats, is now in charge of coaching the side.
The upcoming Birmingham Test match will be Mike Hesson's first Test match as the head coach of the Pakistan cricket team. If the claims are to be believed, then Hesson played a big role in convincing Salman Ali Agha to rejoin the team.
