After the second day of the practice session, RevSportz reported that Samson was limping at the ICC Academy in Dubai, raising huge doubts over his fitness ahead of the Asia Cup.

Sanju Samson ruled out injury scares ahead of Asia Cup opener

Though some videos as well as reports had claimed that Sanju Samson was in visible pain during India's practice session, as he was also spotted limping back with the bat in his hand.

However, the 30-year-old dynamic Indian opener, who has scored 3 centuries for India in the last calendar year in T20s, will be a big miss for the Indian team if he misses out due to injury. After sitting out for a couple of hours, Samson turned up with some promising signs.

He went into the nets and started with big sixes and had very accommodating footwork, much like he does when he is totally fit. Hence, it can be said that he is sidelining injury woes; he is all set to star in the Asia Cup opener.
