Team India vice-captain Shubman Gill continued his lean patch in Australia with another low score in the third match of the five-match T20I series between the two teams. Following Gill's dismissal in the ongoing game, legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar, was spotted on the live broadcast.
After being sent in to bat, Australia posted a total of 186/6 at the Bellerive Oval on Sunday, November 2. Tim David and Marcus Stoinis hammered 74 and 64 respectively. Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers for the visiting team with three wickets, and Varun Chakravarthy added two scalps to his name.

Nathan Ellis outsmarted Shubman Gill with a yorker that crashed into his front pad before the batter could bring his bat down. Gill, who often plants his front foot across the line, was caught out by the late movement as the delivery straightened after pitching.
The on-field LBW decision was upheld after a review, with ball-tracking showing all three reds and confirming the ball would hit the leg stump. Gill scored 15 off 12 balls before burning the review. Ellis removed both Indian openers inside the powerplay.
Sara Tendulkar, known for her presence at cricket matches and her supportive demeanor toward Indian players, was captured on camera, and the clip quickly grabbed attention on social media platforms.

"He Needs to…" - Irfan Pathan Slammed Shubman Gill After the 2nd T20I
Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan slammed Shubman Gill after the second T20I, adding that the opener has not made the most of his opportunities. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Pathan noted that Gill replaced Sanju Samson, who had scored three T20I centuries, but hasn't justified that selection.
"Questions will also be raised about Shubman Gill. Look, Shubman Gill has replaced Sanju Samson, who had scored three centuries, to open the innings for India’s T20 team."
"In his last ten innings, he hasn’t even scored a total of 200 runs, so the pressure will be on him. He’s getting opportunities, he’s getting the backing, but he needs to convert those chances into performances, which hasn’t happened yet," he added.
Australia’s Batters, Apart From Tim David and Marcus Stoinis, Struggle Against India
India made three changes to their lineup for the must-win match, recalling Arshdeep Singh, Jitesh Sharma, and Washington Sundar. The visitors opted to bowl first, and the move paid off early as Arshdeep removed Travis Head and Josh Inglis inside the powerplay.
Tim David and Marcus Stoinis rescued Australia with counterattacking knocks. David smashed 74 off 38 balls, while Stoinis struck 64 off 39 deliveries, helping the hosts post 186 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs.
Arshdeep Singh picked up three wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy bagged two scalps and Shivam Dube added one.
Chasing 187, at the time of writing, India were 152 for 5 after 16 overs, with Washington Sundar (33 off 15) and Jitesh Sharma (10 off 6) at the crease.
