Scotland vs Zimbabwe Live Streaming And Telecast- When And Where To Watch 3rd T20I Live In Your Country? Zimbabwe have stormed back into the T20 series after defeating Scotland by 10 runs in the second game on Friday. A nail-biting encounter ended in the favour of the visitors as W Mazakadza held his nerves to defend 13 runs in the final over.
Batting first, Zimbabwe posted 136 runs on the board in their allotted 20 overs. They didn’t make a great start as both the openers went back to the hut inside the first three overs. Madhevere continued his poor run of form as he got out without opening his account. Skipper, Craig Ervine then steadied the ship alongside Sean Williams.
The duo added 71 runs for the fourth wicket before Ervine (30 off 36) got out in the 15th over of the innings. Williams, however, played right till the end and helped Zimbabwe reach a reasonable total on the board. Williams remained unbeaten at 60 off 52 balls as Zimbabwe posted 136 runs on the board in the first innings.
Scotland too didn’t make a great start with the bat either. George Munsey (9 off 6), Kyle Coetzer (2 off 4) and Ollie Hairs (0 off 1) went back to the pavilion without making much of a contribution. Scotland had lost four wickets for just 16 runs inside 5 overs.
Richie Berrington, once again, came to the rescue and stitched a valuable 75-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Mathew Cross. Berrington scored 42 off 43 balls, however, he couldn’t stay till the end. His wicket in the 15th over brought him back into the hut. Mathew Cross (42 off 35) followed him in the 18th over to turn the tide in favour of Zimbabwe.
Michael Leask, however, kept the hopes high for Scotland. He played a great 21-ball 25-run knock and stayed right till the very last over. However, Masakadza kept his cool in the final over and gave just two runs. Scotland in the end fell 10 runs short of the target.
The third and final T20 international between Scotland and Zimbabwe will be played at Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh on Sunday.
