Shahid Afridi Confirms The Marriage Of His Elder Daughter With Pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi

Veteran Pakistan all-rounder and one of the most celebrated cricketers in the country, Shahid Afridi has confirmed the wedding of his eldest daughter Aqsa with pace bowling sensation Shaheen Shah Afridi.

One of the most popular cricketers in the country, Shahid Afridi was recently roped in by a news channel where he was asked about the marriage of his eldest daughter Aqsa and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Afridi not only confirmed the marriage but he also clarified that Shaheen Shah Afridi and his daughter had no prior relationship before the family of the former approached him with the wedding proposal.

“We Afridis have eight tribes, Shaheen and we belong to different tribes,” Shahid Afridi was quoted as saying by GeoTV.

Shahid Afridi further confirmed that his daughter is an aspiring daughter but it is not yet confirmed whether she will continue pursuing her education in Pakistan or England.

Earlier this year, Shahid Afridi had taken to his official Twitter account where he had confirmed that Shaheen Shah Afridi’s family had approached him with a wedding proposal.

“Shaheen’s family approached my family for my daughter. Both families are in touch, matches are made in heaven, if Allah wills this match will be made too. My prayers are with Shaheen for his continued success on and off the field,” Shahid Afridi had said in one of his tweets.
