Shakib Al Hasan Picks MS Dhoni As Skipper In His All-Time ODI XI, Inducts India's Sachin Tendulkar And Virat Kohli In The Team

Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hasan revealed his all-time ODI XI in a YouTube video. The Bangladeshi all-rounder picked MS Dhoni as the captain of the team. Hasan also inducted former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar into his team along with present Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The Bangladesh star player revealed his best ODI XI in a conversation with Sportskeeda on YouTube.
Shakib Al Hasan picked Sachin Tendulkar and Saeed Anwar as the openers in his team. Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run-scorer in the ODI cricket with 18,426 runs along with most 49 centuries. Saeed Anwar is a former Pakistani cricketer who was a star opener for his team during his active career. The left-handed batsman scored 8824 runs in his ODI career with 20 centuries and 43 half-centuries.

Shakib Al Hasan placed West Indies’ hard-hitter Chris Gayle at the 3rd spot, followed by Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Chris Gayle is one of the most dangerous hitters in international cricket. Virat Kohli is one of the finest batsmen with the second-most number of 43 ODI centuries so far.
Hasan chose former South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis at the no.5 spot. With 11579 runs and 273 wickets in 278 matches in 50-over cricket, Jacques Kallis is considered among the top all-rounders of all time. Selecting MS Dhoni as the skipper and wicketkeeper, Hasan kept the former Indian captain at the no.6 spot. He kept himself at the no.7 spot in his all-time XI ODI team.
In the bowling department, the left-arm spinner Hasan picked two pacers and 2 spinners, in addition to himself and Jacques Kallis, who are all-rounders. He picked former Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and former Australia spinner Shane Warne in the spin category. While Muralitharan is the highest wicket-taker in ODI cricket with 534 wickets, Shane Warne was one of the strongest spinners from Australia.
