Bangladesh National Cricket Team all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has come under a massive scanner in the England Cricket. As per the reports in ESPNCricinfo, it is learned that the left-hander has been banned from bowling in the competitions of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

This came after Shakib Al Hasan’s bowling action was reported by the umpires while he was playing for Surrey in the County Championship. Following that immediate action was taken, as the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) banned him from bowling in all the domestic competitions.

Shakib Al Hasan, in the only game that he played in the County season so far, had a great outing with the ball. The all-rounder picked 9 wickets in that game and played a massive role for the team in the match, which took place in September.

Things are not at all going right for Shakib Al Hasan in the cricket. He recently became part of a massive controversy after he was accused in a murder case during an anti-government protest in Bangladesh. Following that, he hasn't visited his country as he is currently based in the USA.

Shakib Al Hasan announced his retirement from the T20Is after the T20 World Cup 2024 and also called time on his career in the longest format of the game. However, he expressed his desire to play the last game at his home, which was against the South Africa National Cricket Team.

Shakib Al Hasan was initially allowed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to play in the series. But later, he wasn't allowed to play due to security reasons. He last played for the Bangladesh National Cricket Team in the Tests against India in the second match of the series, which took place in Kanpur.

Shakib Al Hasan hasn't played any international cricket since then. He has been playing in the leagues all around the world. The all-rounder also has announced that he will be retiring from the ODIs after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be played in February-March next year.
