The Mankading Incident has been buzzing as the entire World Cricket has had mixed reviews. England Women vs India Women ODI Series has got famous due to that incident and it won’t be wrong to say that Deepti Sharma has taken the World Cricket by storm.

The hosts have raised their voices against this law as they believe that this is against the spirit of the game. MCC had made it clear that Mankading is no longer an unfair decision to get a nonstriker out. The Cricket Fraternity has termed this way of dismissal if not legitimate as stated by England Captain Heather Knight.

Jhulan Goswami on Mankading

Legendary Jhulan Goswami was seen interacting with RevSportz and was asked about the incident. “Nothing wrong. I don’t want to say anything. It was in law. ICC law is there. Is there anything illegal she did? Has it happened for the first time? I don’t think you need to discuss anything. She was ahead. Not in millimeters but one feet ahead. If someone is taking advantage, there is a law for that.” said Jhulan.

Indian Women Cricket Team on a Roll

The Men in Blue would be ecstatic after whitewashing England in their backyard. The visitors have been quite ruthless and we should not forget that the Women’s Team was coming back after a massive T20I Series against England. The hosts had the momentum and they were clear favorites to win the Series but they weren’t ready for a steep challenge.

The visitors should not get complacent as we have seen many times that Men in Blue throw away the momentum. The Women’s Team won’t be able to believe that they defeated England at the Iconic Lord’s. Winning at Lord’s is quite a dream for every team. England Women’s Team would be questioned for their approach as chasing 170 runs is not a big target by any means.
