Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been the new starlet of this season, not only for the Rajasthan Royals but also in the Indian Premier League. What he has done is pure brilliance, as he is not a slogger or a pinch hitter giving hurried starts; he is a legend in the making.
The Rajasthan Royals started this season with some wins as Sooryavanshi handed them some stunning starts. After Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to continue the good form, the 15-year-old has continued his domination and has literally made bowling lineups shiver.
Sooryavanshi started on a similar note against the Sunrisers Hyderabad as the team returned to their home ground at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. On the previous occasion, when Sooryavanshi played against SRH this season, he was dismissed for a golden duck.
15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scores his second IPL century
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi started this game against the Sunrisers on a rocking note. Praful Hinge, who picked three first-over wickets against this opposition the last time these two teams met, was handed the new ball by skipper Pat Cummins.
Hinge was hit for 25 runs, comprising 4 humongous sixes, by the 15-year-old youngster. Sooryavanshi continued the onslaught, equalling his own record of a 15-ball half-century for the second time in the season.
He then never looked back and continued to give it back to every bowler, including the likes of Eshan Malinga, Sakib Hussain, and spinner Shivang Kumar. Sooryavanshi reached his century off just 38 balls, reaching the three figures for the second time in his short IPL career.
This is a massive feat for a 15-year-old who now has two centuries at an age when people can’t even dream of making a debut in the IPL. He has been taking down legendary bowlers with ease, once after he was dropped on 32 by Aniket Verma.
New record for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as he surpasses Heinrich Klaasen’s IPL record
Having made a century in his debut season as a 14-year-old for the Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had shocked the world with his brilliant shot-making ability. Sooryavanshi had scored that hundred off just 35 balls against the Gujarat Titans.
He could not break his own record by a margin of just 1 ball as he completed his second century in the IPL off just 36 balls. This now marks the third fastest hundred in the history of the IPL, as he goes past the likes of Yusuf Pathan and Heinrich Klaasen, now only behind the legendary Chris Gayle and himself.
Fans go into frenzy over the outstanding display from the RR youngster

This is not normal. This is not hype. This is a kid walking into the IPL and batting like he belongs above half the league already. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is unreal.
15 = casual warm-up

He hit 12 sixes and 5 fours
It means he scored 92 only from boundaries.... Sheer madness ✴️

Last ball of the ton: REVERSE SWEEP. 🪄
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi just produced the most fearless century in IPL history. No sighters, no fear, just pure timing and dominance. 15 years old and already making legends look like spectators. 💎🔥
#HallaBol #Vaibhav…
Records are bound to fall if he keeps this fearless approach going throughout the season...

He hid his age from people and he has deceived them. He is at least 22 or 23 years old and the IPL people have presented him as 13 years old. pic.twitter.com/puJlOEhsgM
