Veteran Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan came up with a heartbreaking reminder to fans ahead of the game between India and Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024. He reminded fans of the Men in Blue's heartwrenching defeat to Australia in the final of the ICC World Cup 2023.

India and Australia are all set to lock horns with each other in the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World 2024. The match between the two teams will be played on Monday (24th June) at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia, where high-scoring games have taken place.

It will be more than a match for the Indian cricket Team because they would be looking to take the revenge of loss in the final of the ICC World Cup 2023. Australia broke the heart of almost every Indian when they beat the Rohit Sharma-led side in the final of the tournament at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November.

The loss is still fresh in the minds of many because India played a dominating brand of cricket throughout the tournament. They entered the final on the back of 10 straight wins and with the way they played, it looked like they would win the title but Australia thumped them and silenced the entire nation.

With the India vs Australia game in the T20 World Cup 2024 around the corner, Shikhar Dhawan reminded Indian fans of the loss in the final of the ICC World Cup 2023. He posted a picture on his social media account and added: "Man can get over anything, but not 19th November."

Here's the post:

India in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 has been sensational with the bat and ball. They first defeated Ireland in the first game and then went on to crush Pakistan in their second game. They also thumped the United States of America before their last league game got washed out.

India then in the Super 8 stage started on a high note. They defeated Afghanistan by 47 runs to make a huge statement. They would be keen to win their next game against Bangladesh and then head into the game against Australia high on confidence.

On the other hand, Australia also have been unbeaten in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. They have played a dominating brand of cricket and recently thumped Bangladesh in their Super 8 fixture to start their second leg of the tournament on high.
