Shree Charani becomes first Indian bowler to cross 800-point mark
Shree Charani has made the biggest jump after a brilliant Women’s Asia Cup 2026 campaign. The left-arm bowler took four wickets in the final and finished the tournament with 12 wickets.
Her performance has helped her strengthen her place at the top of the ICC T20I Women's Bowling Rankings. She has also become the first Indian bowler to cross the 800-point mark.
Shree Charani now has 802 points. Only Australia’s Megan Schutt has a higher rating with 806 points, while England’s Sophie Ecclestone has also reached 802 points. Shree Charani is currently the No.1 bowler.
The highest-ever ratings in women’s T20I bowling are Megan Schutt (806), Shree Charani (802), Sophie Ecclestone (802), Shabnim Ismail (781), and Shelley Nitschke (780).
Deepti Sharma storms into No. 2 in ICC T20I Bowling Rankings
Deepti Sharma has also made a big move in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. She took 14 wickets during the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, including three wickets for 19 runs in the final.
Her impressive tournament has helped her climb four places to second in the T20I bowling rankings. It means India now has the top two bowlers in the updated ICC T20I rankings.
Shafali Verma moves up in ICC T20I Rankings, breaks into top six
India’s explosive batter Shafali Verma has gained one place in the T20I batting rankings and is now the sixth batter in the updated chart. The aggressive batter was one of India’s key performers in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, scoring 236 runs at an average of 47.20.
Australia’s Beth Mooney and Georgia Voll continue to dominate the batting ranking with 785 and 779 rating points, respectively. Her performances have also helped Shafali climb five places in the T20I all-rounder rankings, where she now sits at 15th.
Hayle Matthews remains the N0.1 T20I all-rounder.
Bangladesh's Nigar Sultana, Imesha Dulani climb ICC T20I Rankings after Women's Asia Cup 2026 show
Several Bangladesh players have also moved up after their performances in the recent Women’s Asia Cup 2026, where they finished their campaign at the semifinals. Amid this, Nigar Sultana set to step down as Bangladesh T20I captain after Asian Games 2026.
Captain Nigar Sultana has climbed one place to equal 20th, while Imesha Dulani has moved up two places to also sit at 20th in the ICC T20I Batting rankings. Sharmin Akhter Supta has moved three places to equal 40th, while Shawaal Zulfiqar has jumped four places to 45th.
Bangladesh’s bowlers have also made good progress. Marufa Akter has moved up three places to equal 15th, Rabeya Khan is now 18th after gaining three spots, Sultana Khatun has climbed five places to 32nd, and Fahima Khatun has moved six places to 49th in the updated rankings.
