After retiring from the game in 2012, Dravid first did commentary before slowly moving into coaching. He later took charge of India’s young stars and guided the Under-19 team to the 2018 ICC Under‑19 Cricket World Cup title. In 2021, Dravid became India’s head and took the team to the 2023 ICC World Cup final and won the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup.
