While the news made headlines, the Indian singer caught the attention of social media with a loving post with a picture of Smriti with the World Cup in her hands and captioned it saying, “Sabse aage hai hum Hindustani.”
The fans did not miss noticing that his hand had a tattoo mentioning 'SM 18,' symbolising Smriti's initials and her jersey number. Many were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Indian singer.
