The Australian skipper has further stressed that the entire focus must be on Gardner and Voll’s performances. Molineux expects both players to stay committed to their cricket and continue contributing to Australia whenever they take the field.
She believes that the Australian players will continue to support each other and make sure the dressing room remains a positive and comfortable environment.
Sophie Molineux said on CODE SPORTS, "I think they'll be able to perform... They're quality players, and the team will not be any different in that we'll get around them like we do with each other and make sure that performance is our number one thing, a strong culture and environment, and also performance.”

Meanwhile, the Australia women’s national cricket team is heading back to home soil after the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026. It was their seventh title in the format. They defeated England in the final at Lord’s to become world champions once again.
After their T20 World Cup success, the Australian team will now return home for its busy summer schedule. Their first assignment will be a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh Women in Brisbane. All three matches will be played at Allan Border Field.

The victory was even more special for the star all-rounder because of Australia’s results in the previous two World Cups. After those disappointing finishes, the team bounced back strongly and managed to lift the trophy in England.
Perry had stated, “The English summer was a really great one for us and successful in the end in that T20 World Cup. After the last couple of World Cups and falling short in semi-finals, to come back with a win was really cool.”
