South Africa Playing 11 vs Australia- 3rd T20I, South Africa Tour of Australia 2025:
Openers: Ryan Rickelton, Aiden Markram (c)
South Africa would be high on confidence after a thumping win over Australia in the second of the three T20Is during the ongoing T20I series.
The Proteas would like to carry the momentum that they have gained courtesy of this win and register an important series win against Australia in Australia, which is not an easy thing to do.
Proteas would be happy with the win in the last match, especially because it was the youngsters who bailed the team out of trouble after they had lost three quick wickets.
The rescue act was led by Dewald Brevis, who scored the second fastest century for the Proteas in T20I cricket and also scored the highest individual score by a South African batter in this format.
Brevis was ably supported by Tristan Stubbs, who also played a valuable hand of 31 runs of 22 balls and added 126 runs for the fourth wicket, thereby stabilizing the South African innings and guiding the team to an above-par total.
The Proteas is expected to go with an unchanged playing XI in the third and final match of the series against Australia, which also happens to be the decider.
Ryan Rickelton and captain Aiden Markram will once again open the innings and would want to kick on at a good strike rate
Although Rickelton scored a half-century in the series opener but it came at a very slow pace, and the batter did not have enough support from the other end, which resulted in South Africa falling behind in the game.
Markram, on the other hand, has got off to a flyer in both matches but hasn't been able to convert it into a meaningful contribution.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Rassie van der Dussen, Lhuan-dre Pretorius (wk), Tristan Stubbs, Dewald Brevis, Corbin Bosch
The openers would want an in-form middle order, which comprises the likes of Rassie van der Dussen, Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Tristan Stubbs, and Dewald Brevis, to capitalize on the start provided by them.
The majority of the batters got out early in the previous match, and it took a humanugous fourth wicket partnership between Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs to guide the team to an above-par total.
The team management would want the duo to continue their form and other specialist batters to put on a much-improved performance in the upcoming match.
Other than the specialist batters, the Proteas also have fast bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch, who strengthens the team's batting and fulfills the role of the fifth bowler.
Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada, Nqabayomzi Peter, Kwena Maphaka, Lungi Ngidi
The visitors are expected to go with the same bowling lineup that took the field in the second game of the series.
The combination would consist of three specialist fast bowlers and one specialist spinner, with Corbin Bosch being the fast bowling all-rounder and the fifth bowling option.
Proteas' fast bowling department will be handled by Kagiso Rabada, Kwenen Maphaka, and Lungi Ngidi.
As far as the team's spin arsenal is concerned, it comprises Nqabayomzi Peter, who will be assisted by Aiden Markram.
