The CSA published the men’s international schedule for the 2022–23 home season, which includes South Africa hosting England, the West Indies, and the Netherlands in the summer of 2022–23.

The World Cup Super League season kicks out in January-February with a three-match ODI series against England. The West Indies travel in South Africa to play two Test matches in February and March. This will be Dean Elgar’s team’s final match in the second World Test Championship. A three-match bilateral ODI and T20I series will thereafter be played in March.

The Netherlands will travel back to South Africa to complete the three-match series (part of the Super League) that was initially set for December 2021 but was postponed owing to the Omicron form of Covid-19 outbreak. The series will consist of two one-day internationals (ODIs).

Exciting Summer Of International Cricket Ahead: Pholetsi Moseki

“CSA is thrilled to be hosting England, West Indies and the Netherlands, all worthy opponents, in what is billed to be an exciting summer of international cricket,” said CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki.

“This is principally good news to our fans who have been starved of the blend of cricket on offer at stadiums since the 2020 pandemic. These bumper fixtures confirm that cricket in South Africa is indeed open for business.
