Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2025 on March 30 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
The DC vs SRH clash is anticipated to be a mouth-watering contest between bat and ball, taking into account the sublime manner in which both teams have kicked off their campaign against LSG and RR, respectively.
Going by the form of both teams, there is little to choose from between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming DC vs SRH clash to be played in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (March 30)
DC achieved a surprising victory against LSG courtesy of a breathtaking innings from Ashutosh Sharma, who came to bat at number seven with five wickets down for 66. DC will look to carry the momentum against SRH.
Having said that, DC would like their top order to contribute a significant amount of runs in the powerplay and provide a solid platform for the incoming batters to put an above-par total on the board
Sunrisers Hyderabad have changed the approach to playing T20 cricket in the last year and are now regarded as a team that can breach the 300-run mark in T20 cricket by scoring 250 runs or more consistently
The team has a good blend of youth and experienced players and is playing an aggressive brand of cricket by including the likes of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Henrich Klaasen in the playing eleven.
SRH Playing 11 vs Delhi Capitals- IPL 2025, Match 10:
Openers: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma
The left-handed opening duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma has created havoc among bowlers with their explosive hitting in the first six overs. The pair will be up against Mitchell Starc in the game.
Middle-Order Batters and All-Rounders: Ishan Kishan (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Abhinav Manohar, Aniket Verma
The Sunrisers Hyderabad batting lineup started the 2025 IPL season exactly how they batted in the last season, with recruit Ishan Kishan taking the aggressive route and scoring his maiden IPL century on his debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The left-hander was well supported by middle-order batters Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy and will look to replicate the same in the match.
SRH has also added young batters Abhinav Manohar and Aniket Verma to their squad, which provides them depth in batting.
Bowlers: Pat Cummins, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Shami, Simarjeet Singh, Adam Zampa
SRH's bowling will be led by experienced fast bowler Mohamed Shami, who was picked by the orange army in the mega auction, and will be supported by captain Pat Cummins and Simarjeet Singh, who might take the new ball.
The bowling in the middle overs will be taken care of by Harshal Patel, along with the leg-spin of Adam Zampa, with Shami coming back to bowl in the final five overs, along with Pat Cummins
