Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 55th match of IPL 2025. This article provides details about the SRH Playing 11 vs Delhi Capitals for match 55 of IPL 2025.

SRH Playing 11 vs Delhi Capitals- IPL 2025, Match 55:

Openers: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head

Left-handed opening pair of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head will open the innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming match against the Delhi Capitals at their home ground in Hyderabad.

Abhishek Sharma, who tried his best to take Sunrisers Hyderabad over the line in the last game against GT, would like to play with a bit more intent against DC and rectify the mistakes he has made in the last few encounters.

Like Abhishek, Travis Head would like to deliver a strong performance against the Capitals in order to regain the form that he showed in the last edition of the league.

Both Travis and Abhishek would want the replicate the power hitting they displayed in the record-breaking run chase against PBKS.

Middle-Order Batters and All-Rounders: Ishan Kishan (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Kamindu Mendis, Aniket Verma

Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 2016 IPL champions, would hope for their middle-order batters to come good in the last three games and start by delivering a solid show in the next match against DC.

SRH, a team that has an explosive batting order, has been languishing at the bottom of the table due to the middle order's failure to contribute on a consistent basis.

Ishan Kishan, who started the innings with an attacking hundred against RR, has managed to accumulate 90 runs in the next nine innings, which has come to haunt Sunrisers Hyderabad in a big way.

The only shining light in an otherwise out-of-form batting department has been Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma.

The duo has been able to guide SRH to a respectable total while batting first on a number of occasions in the ongoing edition of the tournament.

Having said that, Klaasen wasn't able to play his natural game despite scoring runs against GT at the Narendra Modi Stadium

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has also contributed with the bat to the best of his abilities and added crucial runs in the final five overs.

Bowlers: Pat Cummins (c), Harshal Patel, Mohammed Shami, Jaydev Unadkat, Zeeshan Ansari

SRH would hope for their bowlers to make a strong comeback in the home game against DC following a disappointing outing in Ahmedabad.

One of the biggest concerns for SRH leading into the game would be the form of experienced fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who has looked out of touch in the majority of the matches.

Other than Shami, captain Pat Cummins, along with the Indian fast bowling pair of Jaydev Unadkat and Harshal Patel, haven't been able to string a couple of good performances in a row.

Zeeshan Ansari, who is the lone specialist spinner in the playing XI for Sunrisers, has been impressive in the middle overs but hasn't picked up a lot of wickets.
