High-flying Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be looking to continue their strong start to the season when they take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the seventh game of IPL 2025. The game is scheduled to be played on Thursday (March 27) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

SunRisers Hyderabad started their season with a bang, thrashing the Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs. Riding on Ishan Kishan's century and Travis Head's fifty, SRH posted a huge total of 286/6. In reply, RR finished their innings on a commendable 242/6.

With form on their side, SunRisers Hyderabad will be confident of beating LSG as well. Ahead of the game, we are taking a look at the SRH Playing 11.

SRH Playing 11 vs LSG- IPL 2025, Match 7:

Openers: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will be the openers in the SRH Playing 11 for the upcoming game against LSG. They started from where they had left off last year, giving SunRisers Hyderabad a flying start in their first game of the season against RR.

In just three overs, the duo added 45 runs for the opening wicket before Sharma departed. The Indian opener was dismissed after scoring 24 runs off 11 balls and will be eyeing a big score in the upcoming game.

Head, on the other hand, capitalised on his start and went on to score a fifty, although he had ample time to complete a century as well. The southpaw departed after smashing 67 runs off 31 balls. Both Head and Sharma looked in ominous form in the last game and will be eyeing another memorable partnership against LSG.

Middle-order: Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Aniket Verma, Abhinav Manohar

Ishan Kishan could not announce his arrival to the SunRisers Hyderabad team in a better way. He has made the SunRisers Hyderabad squad even more formidable and would be keen to build on the brilliant start to his campaign.

The southpaw starred with the bat against the Royals, smashing an unbeaten 106 off just 47 balls. He stayed till the end to ensure that SRH finished with a gigantic total.

The likes of Nitish Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen played brilliant cameos to ensure that their team remains on course for the big total. Reddy scored 30 runs off 15 balls while Klaasen smashed 34 runs off just 14 balls.

Aniket Verma and Abhinav Manohar did not have much to do with the bat apart from swinging it hard right from the start. Verma was out for 7 while Manohar could not even open his account after coming to bat in the last over.

Bowlers: Pat Cummins (c), Simarjeet Singh, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Shami

While the SunRisers Hyderabad bowlers did not have a good outing with the ball, they still managed to defend the huge total with ease in the end. However, Pat Cummins and Co. will be eyeing a better show after conceding 242 runs against the Royals.

The SRH Playing 11 is likely to have four fast bowlers, just like the last game while Adam Zampa can be used as an impact player. Cummins, Simarjeet Singh, Harshal Patel, and Mohammed Shami are set to be the four pacers in the SRH Playing 11.
