"Stole My Bag With Cash, Cards...": India Cricketer Taniya Bhatia Claims She Was Robbed In London Hotel, Tweets About Incident

Indian Women’s Cricket Team spoiled England’s party in the 3rd ODI and whitewashed the hosts. The hosts would be utterly disappointed as they made a mess out of a match. Chasing 170 runs is not a tough task by any means where a couple of 50-60 runs partnerships are enough to win the match.

Men in Blue would be flying high as not many would have predicted that the visitors would dominate England. There’s something extraordinary about this India Women’s Team where they find match winners on the present day that too on the 11th hour.

Taniya Bhatia on her Incident

Taniya Bhatia posted a tweet and heavily criticized the Hotel. “Shocked and disappointed at Marriot Hotel London Maida Vale management; someone walked into my personal room and stole my bag with cash, cards, watches, and jewelry during my recent stay as a part of Indian Women’s Cricket team.@MarriottBonvoy. So unsafe,” she said

“Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket‘s preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognisance as well,” she added

Unnecessary Attention Towards Run-out

The hosts have been quite vocal as they are saying that running out non strikers is against the spirit of the game. MCC laws state that such kind of dismissal is a legitimate one. Due to this dismissal, many people are forgetting that India played out of their skins to defend a below-par total of 170 runs. The team showed character and a never to say die attitude which is invaluable in Cricket.

England Women’s performance throughout the Series was quite questionable & scratchy as they made the mistake of taking the opposition lightly. Deepti Sharma has become an overnight star in India. It would be quite fascinating to see when these two nations clash as England would be ready for revenge.
