Former England National Cricket Team fast bowler Stuart Broad is the latest to launch an attack on the Mohsin Naqvi-led Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Broad, in his latest statement, accused the PCB officials of being behind the drastic fall of the Pakistan National Cricket Team.

Pakistan batters failed brutally in the ongoing Test series against the England pace bowling attack. Whether it was in Leeds or London, the batters in Green struggled from the beginning to the end of both of the matches.

There is no debate that the Babar Azam-led team lacked the skills to issue a proper reply to the opposing bowlers. But PCB also cannot avoid the fact that they have played a massive role in the team's poor performance.

Stuart Broad's early prediction turned true in the England vs Pakistan Test series

Ahead of the series, Stuart Broad mentioned that England should claim the three-match Test series by 3-0 as Pakistan, on paper, looked far behind in strength and quality in comparison to the host nation, England.

Broad's comments turned out to be true when England claimed the first two matches of the contest with ease. In two matches and four innings, the away team did not score 200 in any of their innings.

PCB surprisingly snubbed seven cricketers before the series ends

With one more match to go, PCB took a massive decision, snubbing seven cricketers including Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Rizwan, and Imam-ul-Haq from the Test team to name seven emerging cricketers in the set-up. Among those newly inducted seven players, five are uncapped.

Ahead of the third and final match of the series, which will be held in Birmingham, Stuart Broad said that he made a factual mistake in his previous comments about the Pakistan cricket team. In his previous assessment, the former pacer blamed the cricketers for the current condition of the team.

After watching the Test matches in Leeds and London, the England cricket legend sensed the issue with the Pakistan cricket team is not only with the cricketers, but also with the PCB officials, including the selectors and the coaches.

"I actually regret saying Pakistan were a poor side because I feel that blamed the players. Now that I’ve seen them operate in two Test matches, I can quite clearly see that the issues are with the hierarchy, selection, and changes in coaching." Broad said on the Love of Cricket podcast.

He previously mentioned that it would be a disaster for the England cricket team if they were unable to win the series 3-0 with a clear advantage over the present Pakistan cricket team.

“I don’t know what we can really know about this team, but, as I said in the last podcast, which quite a few Pakistani fans took exception to, Pakistan are a poor side, and England should win this series 3-0. If they don’t, it would be an absolute disaster. I haven’t changed my opinion on that at all. England should win this Test series 3-0; they’ve simply got a stronger side,” Stuart Broad had said.
