Suresh Raina's Name Comes In LPL 2023 Auction Despite Him Not Registering For The Tournament - Reports

In what has been the latest development as per the reports in Danik Jagron, it is learned that former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina didn’t register his name in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 Auction. But his name still appeared in the auction pool at a base price of $40,000.  

Since the last couple of days, there have been quite a few reports that suggested that Suresh Raina has registered his name in the auction to play Lankan Premier League (LPL) 2023. Many assumed the reports to be true because the batter retired from all forms of cricket last year and is eligible to play in foreign leagues.

But all these reports turned out to be fake as Suresh Raina’s name didn’t come up for the bid. During the auction, his name was present in the 11th set, but auctioneer Charu Sharma did not call his name during the set.

It was then revealed that he didn’t register for the auction nor will he play in the Lanka Premier League. A reporter from Danik Jagron confirmed the development.

Suresh Raina likely to be part of the Road Safety World Series 2023 

Suresh Raina is likely to be seen in action next during the Road Safety World Series 2023. The 2011 World Cup winner participated in Legends League Cricket, Abu Dhabi T10 League and Legends Cricket Trophy last year along with RSWS 2022. He was part of the India Legends and played a decent role.

The Road Safety World Series 2023 is likely to take place in September this year. It is expected that Legends League Cricket and Abu Dhabi T10 League will also take place during that month and it’ll be interesting to see which tournament Suresh Raina will take part in.
