Probably every cricket fan, at least once in their life, saw the photo of World Cup-winning captains Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni standing on the ground in their practice kits. The photo was taken during an Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Suryakumar Yadav had to make a lot of effort to convince both Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni to do the photoshoot. During a recent conversation with the former India cricketer Aakash Chopra, the former T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav mentioned that the photo with Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni remains his favourite.

Yadav shared an interesting story describing how he convinced Rohit and Dhoni to come together for a brief photoshoot. Mumbai Indians were then in Chennai for an IPL match with Rohit and Yadav.
It was a practice session when Yadav spotted the opportunity to take his dream photo. But the problem was, he and Rohit were Mumbai Indians players, and Dhoni was with the Chennai Super Kings, so they were in different camps.
Suryakumar Yadav first went to Rohit Sharma to talk about the photoshoot
Yadav had to wait for the moment to start a conversation. He and Rohit were from the same team, so Yadav first said to Rohit Sharma about his wish. Rohit replied with a 'Kyaa ree' in his trademark way.
"This is my favourite photo. We were in Chennai. We were practising... I asked him (Rohit Sharma) where he was eating. I said, Rohit bhai, I have a request. He said, what is it? I said, Rohit bhai, for me (a photo)," Yadav reveals his conversation with Rohit Sharma.
Rohit Sharma was prepared for the photoshoot, so Yadav then went to the Chennai Super Kings camp to talk with MS Dhoni. Dhoni was then preparing to go for an ice bath. Wasting no time, Yadav rushed to the legendary Indian captain and requested him for the photoshoot.
MS Dhoni replied to Suryakumar Yadav in style
Dhoni's reply remains in Yadav's mind. MS Dhoni said he would be right back for the photoshoot after setting up his hairstyle for a proper Instagram photo.
"I saw him (MS Dhoni) outside the dressing room. He was getting ready for an ice bath. He was going for an ice bath after practice. I said, Mahi bhai. He said, yes, come. He went inside. I was sitting in the corner. He said, what do you want to do? I said, I have a request," Suryakumar Yadav described his conversation with Dhoni.
"I said, I want to take a photo with you and Rohit bhai. You are on the right, Rohit bhai on the left. And I am in the middle. I want to take a photo, please. He said, if you take this photo, you will post it on Instagram. I will go and get my hair done. This was his exact line," Yadav added.
