T20 World Cup 2024: Morale boost for Team India! Sachin Tendulkar set to….

Batting great Sachin Tendulkar is likely to attend the game between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match between the two arch-rivals will be played on the 9th of June at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York. 

The T20 World Cup 2024 will be played from 1st June to the 30th June. The tournament will be played in the United States of America and the Caribbean and for the first time in the history of the tournament, 20 teams will be taking part in it. 

While the excitement of the T20 World Cup 2024 has already taken its toll on the fans, the eyes are on the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash. The big ticket match is expected to be the biggest game of the tournament as it has been over the years. 

India and Pakistan only face each other in the ICC events and Asia Cup and therefore the clash between the teams gets even more special. The two teams will be up against each other for the first time since the ICC World Cup 2023 game, which took place in Ahmedabad and was won by India. 

But with Nassau County International Stadium in New York being the newly developed stadium and both the teams having no idea of the conditions, it will be a 50-50 clash between the teams. Also with both sides having big names, it promises to be a big game. 

Sachin Tendulkar to travel to New York to support India for the game against Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2024

India team will be having additional support in the game. This is because great Sachin Tendulkar reportedly will be flying to New York to support the team. The source claimed that his presence will be a morale booster for Rohit Sharma and his men. Speaking to PTI on conditions of anonymity, an ICC source stated: 

"Yes, if all goes well, Sachin will be watching the match in New York and cheering the Indian team. It is still not known if he would meet the players before the game or not but his mere presence in the stands will certainly be a morale booster for Rohit Sharma and his men in what will be the most important group league assignment."

Sachin Tendulkar is associated with a brand that sponsors the ICC and therefore there are high chance he will be travelling to New York.  He is called the God of cricket, which speaks a lot about his stature as a cricket player for India as well as in the world of cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar is rated as the best cricketer to play the game of cricket. He is the highest run scorer in ODIs, Tests and holds the record of a century of centuries in international cricket. He was earlier a 'Brand Ambassador' of ICC during the 2015 ODI World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
