The former West Indies captain believes the combination of local conditions and the explosive talent within the national squad could push them to the title clash against India.

Paul Collingwood, the former England all-rounder, predicted an England-West Indies final. Collingwood is confident that the defending champions, England, have a strong squad that can defend the title against the co-hosts, the West Indies. He surprisingly overlooked India for the summit clash.

Meanwhile, legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar and former Australian opener Matthew Hayden both predicted the repeat of last year's ODI World Cup final between Australia and India. Gavaskar and Hayden are expecting an Australia vs. India T20 World Cup 2024 final.
