Former Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Tanvir Ahmed has launched an attack on the current crop of pacers in Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Khurram Shahzad for their poor bowling performance in the Test series-opener against Bangladesh National Cricket Team.

The first of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being hosted by Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Under Shan Masood's leadership, the side fielded an all-pace attack for the match, anticipating a green-top pitch that would offer plenty of pace and bounce.

However, in actuality, the surface has turned out to be a nightmare for bowlers, with no help whatsoever. This has led to the pacers Shaheen, Naseem, Khurram, and Mohammad Ali failing to trouble the Bangladesh batting unit.

Looking at the struggle of Pakistan pacers in the first Rawalpindi Test against the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side, Tanvir Ahmed took to his official X handle to troll the fast bowlers. He mentioned how young Naseem, Shaheen, and Khurram are and stated that they are bowling like a 35-year-old pacer.

"Naseem Shah 21 years old. Shaheen Afridi 24 years old. Khurram Shazhad 24 years old. Aesa lagta ha 35 years kay fast bowler's lag rahe hain. (They look like 35-year-old pacers).

Tanvir Ahmed also put up a stat on his X handle of pacers' performance in home Tests in the last 3 years and Pakistan were at the bottom of that list. Tanvir Ahmed stated:

"This is our pathetic pakistan bowling record look at last 3 years record olso look at bowling SR rate very very poor that means we dont have a bowling skills or fitness."

Tanvir Ahmed Lashes Out At Azhar Mahmood

Ahmed further slammed the Pakistan coach Azhar Mahmood for not taking responsibility for the team's failure in the first Test. Notably, Mahmood at the press conference after the third day's play, blamed the pitch for not acting the way they expected.

Tanvir Ahmed posted two tweets for Azhar Mahmood, tearing him apart for saving his coaching staff and questioning his appointment as an assistant coach. Ahmed stated:

"Azher Mehmood ney kia zabardast safe kiya ha apney ap ko or coaching staff ko press conference main afsos howa aesa lagta ha Azher Mehmood ney kabhi cricket nahi khaile matlab ghalti bhi except nahi karni. (It's commendable how Azhar Mahmood saved himself and coaching staff at the press conference. It looks like Azhar Mahmood never played cricket.)"

"Lagta ha Azher mehmood ney sab ko bewaqoof samjha howa ha ye haal ha humrey assistant coach ka or pakistan team main rakha howa ha zahir se baat ha jo farigh coach hoga usko pakistan team main job mil jate ha," (Azhar Mahmood thinks people are idiot. This is the condition of our assistant coach and he is part of Pakistan setup. In Pakistan team even bad coaches get job,)" Tanvir Ahmed wrote in next tweet.

At the time of writing this report, Bangladesh were at 528/7 with Naseem Shah, Khurram Shahzad, and Mohammad Ali having 2 wickets each to their name while Shaheen Afridi was wicketless as the one other wicket was claimed by Saim Ayub.
