Fans on Twitter reacted after India batter Ruturaj Gaikwad bagged another failure in the T20I format for the team. The batter couldn't get going in the ongoing first T20I against the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team, which is underway at Harare Sports Club in Harare.

After India restricted, Zimbabwe to 115 runs, they had a shaky start as they lost debutant Abhishek Sharma for a duck. Experienced batter Ruturaj Gaikwad walked out to bat at No.3 and it seemed that he along with skipper Shubman Gill would bring the team back in the game.

But it wasn't the case as Ruturaj Gaikwad too perished early and failed to set the stage on fire. The Chennai Super Kings skipper walked back to the pavilion in the 4th over and looked shaky at the crease right from the time he came out to bat after the wicket of Abhishek Sharma.

Ruturaj Gaikwad fell to Blessing Muzarabani, who pulled his length back just a touch on off-stump. It was a good length delivery and the batter was not sure if he had to go forward or back. The right-hander was caught on his crease as he pushed at it.

The ball went on to take the outside edge of Ruturaj Gaikwad's bat and went low from Innocent to Kaia at first slip. The fielder reacted swiftly and got down and forward quickly to pouch the catch and send the batter packing for a low total in the first T20I of the series.

Ruturaj Gaikwad managed just 7 runs off 9 balls and hit one boundary in his innings. The Chennai Super Kings batter hasn't been able to make the kind of impact he would've wanted in the T20Is. He has managed 507 runs in 20 games to go with 3 half-centuries and one century.
