Tim David Bought By Royal Challengers Bengaluru For INR 3 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Tim David has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The hard-hitting middle-order batsman played for Mumbai Indians in the last season of the IPL.
After impressing in the Big Bash League and earning a reputation as a hard-hitter, David earned his maiden IPL call-up ahead of the 2021 season. In IPL 2021, he was a part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru squad and managed to play just one game.
Ahead of the 2022 season, Mumbai Indians signed up the Australia for a whopping amount of INR 8.25 crore. In IPL 2022, Tim played 8 games and scored 186 runs at a strike rate of more than 215. In IPL 2023, he became a regular in the Mumbai Indians playing eleven.
The Australia star played 16 games in the 2023 season and scored 231 runs at a strike rate of almost 160. In the last edition of the IPL, he played 13 games and scored 241 runs at a strike rate of over 155. Overall, he has played 38 games in the IPL so far and has scored 659 runs.
