Vaibhav Arora Bought By Kolkata Knight Riders For INR 1.80 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Vaibhav Arora has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 26-year-old is a right-arm pacer. In domestic cricket, he plies his trade for Himachal Pradesh.
His journey in the IPL began in 2021 when he was signed up by Kolkata Knight Riders. However, he did not get the chance to play any game in IPL 2021. Ahead of the 2022 season, he was roped in by Punjab Kings.
He went on to make his IPL debut in 2022 and played 5 games for Punjab Kings. In those 5 games, he managed to pick up just 3 wickets and was released by Punjab Kings after just one season.
Ahead of IPL 2023, he was once again signed up by Kolkata Knight Riders. He played 5 games in IPL 2023 and picked up 5 wickets. In 2024, Vaibhav helped Kolkata Knight Riders win the IPL title after a gap of ten years. He played 10 games in IPL 2024 and picked up 11 wickets.

Kolkata Knight Riders have signed up Vaibhav Arora for INR 1.80 crore at the IPL 2025 auction. The likes of Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals bid for the pacer as well but could not outbid the Knight Riders.
