Young Indian batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi turned 15 on the 27th of March. The junior Indian cricketer has now been elevated to an age where he can be available to play for the Senior Indian National Cricket Team.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi went on to be one of India's most talented prodigy cricketers who set the U19 World Cup stage on fire. His massive 175 in the final would remain one of the most iconic innings ever played in the youth World Cups.

The teenage sensation from India has turned 15 this time around. The youngster from Bihar participated in the ACC Men's Emerging Asia Cup after he got global participation following his IPL century, where he smashed 15 massive sixes.

The youngster from the Rajasthan Royals squad turned 15 ahead of the upcoming IPL season and will be eligible to be part of the Senior Men's Indian team. He is now eligible to play alongside the likes of greats like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

The Indian T20I side might consider giving the opener some chances in the upcoming year if he continues with his promising form in the IPL this season as well.

India A captain Jitesh Sharma led an Indian side that played with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the side when the team flew to Qatar to play in the ACC Men's Emerging Asia Cup. The two cricketers have developed a very friendly relationship.

When asked about Sooryavanshi's sheer strength and his incredible power with which he impacts the game effortlessly, the RCBian commented that the Southpaw is a massive six-hitter and credited his wrists for generating that amount of power.

“It’s all natural power; he’s very strong. His wrists are bigger than my wrists—I gave him my watch to wear, and it was tight for him,” said the wicketkeeper, before expanding on what that kind of power can make happen.

“Chhota Hulk hai woh (he’s baby Hulk),” added Jitesh, referencing the Marvel Comics character.

Jitesh Sharma mentioned the fear young Sooryavanshi has instilled in the hearts of bowlers

After having played just 7 matches in the last season, they will consider him for a full season in this edition of the competition. He will have the massive responsibility to step into the big boots of Sanju Samson.

However, Jitesh believed that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had instilled that fear within the hearts of bowlers with his fearless hitting. He also drew a comparison of the Indian youngster with West Indies big-hitter Nicholas Pooran.

“He’s created that fear. He’s like Nicholas Pooran, lefty-lefty, very hard hitter. You have the fear that he can hit you,” said Jitesh Sharma. He claimed that teams will have to bring new plans and strategies to counter the left-handed batter.
