Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi has taken the internet by storm, with praises pouring in from all over the world. Google CEO Sundar Pichai showered praise after watching Suryavanshi, who made his IPL debut at just 14 years old, batting against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

He opened the innings for the Rajasthan Royals in the absence of skipper Sanju Samson. The 14-year-old left-hander smashed a six off his very first delivery off pacer Shardul Thakur.

His knock came to an end in the ninth over when he was stumped by Rishabh Pant off Aiden Markram’s bowling. Vaibhav Suryavanshi lost his balance and stepped out of the crease. The 14-year-old appeared tearful as he walked back to the dugout after his short but thrilling performance.
