Young Team India batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a stunning century for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025 match. The left-handed batter recorded the second-fastest hundred by an Indian in List A cricket, surpassing players like Yusuf Pathan, Urvil Patel, and Abhishek Sharma.

Vaibhav recently played for India in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025. He scored the majority of his runs against lower-ranked opposition, including 171 runs against the UAE. Vaibhav finished the tournament with 261 runs from five games at an average of 52.20 and a strike rate of 182.52, including one century and one fifty.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi produced a remarkable knock in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Wednesday, December 24. He became the second-fastest Indian to score a List A century. The 14-year-old reached the milestone in just 36 balls while representing Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh in a Plate Group match at Ranchi.

Australia batter Jake Fraser-McGurk holds the record for the fastest List A hundred. The Australian reached the milestone in just 29 balls while playing for South Australia against Tasmania in Adelaide in October 2023.
