Rohit will be key to India's chances in the ongoing Champions Trophy. He will be expected to provide India with fiery starts at the top with his aggressive brand of cricket that he has shown over the years.
Head knows how dangerous Rohit Sharma can become when he is at his best. Rohit scored a fine 91 off just 42 deliveries against Australia which knocked them out of the tournament. Recently, Buttler also faced Rohit's wrath when the latter scored a magnificent century in Cuttack in the ODI series between India and England.
Both Travis Head and Jos Buttler are naturally aggressive players and have the ability to take the game for the opposition in a matter of few overs. Both of them have a strike rate of over 100 in their respective ODI careers and pose a significant amount of danger to the opposition.
Travis Head's ODI records
Travis Head has been in superb form for the last few years having played a key role in Australia's big wins in the WTC Final 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023. He was also the highest run-scorer of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy recently.
Head will be expected to provide Australia with quickfire starts at the top with his explosive batting ability. He has scored 2663 runs in 70 ODIs at an average of 43.65 and a strike rate of 104.02 with 6 hundreds and 16 fifties.
Jos Buttler's incredible numbers in ODIs
Jos Buttler is easily one of the greatest white-ball cricketers ever. England's captain is destructive and can play both pace and spin equally well. Buttler's fast hands make him such a dangerous batter for the opposition.
Buttler has played 184 ODIs so far and scored 5114 runs at an average of 39.33 and a strike rate of 116.25 with 11 hundreds and 27 fifties. Both Buttler and Head will be up against each other during the high-octane clash between Australia and England at Lahore on Saturday (February 22).
